This project will construct a shared use path connection from Heritage Oak Park to SR 741. The city received notice of funding for this project from the OKI Regional Council of Governments in November of 2024. This funding is part of the Transportation Alternative (TA) funding program. This future connection will provide a key pedestrian connection within the central part of Mason. It will also provide increased connectivity for the Mason shared use path network. 

The project is anticipated to occur during the 2027 construction season.

Current Status: The project is currently within the early development phases. Survey, design, and right-of-way acquisition for the project will be ongoing throughout the years of 2025 & 2026.
